It's Tuesday. There are 49 days until the Georgia Senate run-offs and 64 days until the inauguration (we were off one yesterday). Lindsey Graham gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar (sorry for the mental images that created), Trump asked if he could bomb Iran and JB warns of more death because of the blocked transition.

Note: Good morning-ish, you beautiful, gorgeous, sexy patriots! It has been two weeks to the day since Americans went to the polls to remove an orange stain. And instead of using that two weeks to celebrate, relax, exhale and start healing, we've all been watching a big gross groundhog sit in his fucking hole and try to decide if he'll accept that winter is coming. We have to admit that it's pretty goddamn infuriating, and even at times makes us pretty nervous. But after the 1,489th flop sweat tweet from the defeated dumbshit, we decided we hope he tries to stay. Why? Well, we want to see him dragged out. We want to see a team of agents dragging Trump out of the White House by his feet. And after the way he has exposed them to COVID over and over again, we can't imagine the agents are going to be too careful. And then, after Joe has gotten settled and put us back on the right track, we want to make White House tour exhibits of the nail marks on the floor and pee stains on the wall that are the last reminders that Trump was ever in the White House. So make our day and keep resisting, pumpkin puss. Either way, you're coming outta there.

Note two: So we're thinking about closing down TBS and getting out of politics just so we can spend the rest of our lives following Emily Miller around and heckling her until she cries. After single-handedly blocking the transition and getting congratulatory tweets from Trump, she deserves far worse. But heckling is as dangerous as we get. More: ABC News

Note three: Oh look, hate crimes are up. Now why in the world… oh right, there's a giant hate-filed monster with a megaphone on the loose. More: Associated Press

Note four: So this morning we saw a lot of folks who were disappointed and angry about this story that says Biden doesn't want to focus on investigating Trumpland. So a couple thoughts. One, this is good. It's a return to an independent DOJ, and if the AG Biden appoints wants to go down this road, he or she can and then it's about the law and not politics. Second, we need to get used to the fact that Joe Biden is a good man who means it when he says he wants unity. Would we prefer it if his arms were made out of flamethrowers and he was getting ready to make Lindsey Graham cry more than usual? Of fucking course we would. But that ain't who he is, it ain't who America voted for and it ain't who we're going to get in the White House. It will be enormously frustrating, but on those days just remember that people like him are why we're better than Trumpland. And y'all please don't keep this quote handy to rub in our faces six months from now when we're on here cussing like crazy about how chickenshit Democrats are. More: NBC News

Note five: Goddamn we love Michelle Obama. And we're sorry for saying goddamn, ma'am. More: Buzzfeed News

Note six: Her husband ain't bad either. More: Washington Post

Note seven: Mark Trumperburg is testifying again today. We hope he gets grilled, then wedgied. More: Tech Crunch

Note eight: LOLOLOL. We just got word that Rudy Tucker Tucker Cousin Fucker is officially representing the Trump campaign in Pennsylvania. Our message to Pennsylvania — wash your hands and take a shower if you come anywhere near that freak.

Note nine: One of the Pod guys drops some truth about how Biden needs to treat Fox. But again, read Note four. More: Crooked Media

Note 10: Are you a nurse? Are you related to a nurse? Well then we love you. We're grateful to you. And we're sorry so many of your fellow countrymen and women don't give a fuck about you. But please know there are lot of people out there like us who know what you're going through, who know what you're sacrificing and who know how hard you are working. We give you a proud TBS salute, and the good kind not the double middle fingers kind. More: Washington Post

Note 11: So when this fucking quack isn't calling for violence against the governor of Michigan, he's calling for large Thanksgiving gatherings. No wonder Stanford had to call him out. And Stanford has lots of crazy idiots on their campus. Man, remember when Ivy League schools seemed prestigious? More: CNN

Note 12: RealClearPolitics is right-wing garbage and nobody should read it. And Politico Playbook killed your favorite tree. More: New York Times

Note 13: Any day now a Capitol Hill reporter is going to ask a Republican why they're only alleging fraud in places where Black people vote. Any day now. We've got our fingers all the way crossed. More: New York Times

Note 14: There are a lot of things we just don't understand. People continuing to give a fuck what Glenn Greenwald thinks about anything is one of them.

Note 15: Well, party people, that's enough notes for today. But we do want to say a word about the pandemic. We know y'all are super responsible smart hot as hell people so we don't have to ask you to wear a mask and stay away from other people. But we're going to anyway because we care about you. So wear a mask and stay away from other people. Also, have an awesome fucking Tuesday. Love y'all!

Lady G to cellblock D

He probably won't go to jail for it, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't. In a bombshell last night, WaPo reported an interview with Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffenssomethingorother in which he said Lindsey Graham suggested to him that he find a way to throw out legal ballots. Yes, this is election fraud. Yes, Lindsey Graham should be investigated. And yes, the Capitol Hill press corps will drop this by this afternoon because Lindsey isn't a Democrat and he gives good quote. But this is some truly sick shit, and we're happy to see Democrats finally going on offense. They need to stay there. More: Washington Post, Washington Post II

Iran so far away

While we were screaming at the wind about Lindsey, the NYT scooped that Trump asked aides for ways to bomb Iran to stop their nuclear program. You see, Trump's decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal and then have no real policy has only emboldened Iran. Who could've guessed, right? Anway, y'all hold tight these next 64 days. Shit is going to get bumpy. More: New York Times, Washington Post

Start the transition!

Joe is continuing to be far cooler about this shit than we are, but that's true of just about everything. We already mentioned Emily Miller, but we're increasingly seeing new depths of cowardice for Republican senators. Yesterday in his remarks to the press, Joe Biden called the lack of transition an "embarrassment" for the country and warned that it could result in more death. We've known for a while that Republicans don't give a shit about their country, but it's really something to see them admitting it. Want to guess what the Democratic plan is? Yep, do nothing and hope it works out. So basically our plan for everything. More: CNN, CNN II, Washington Post

Today's clips

Over the past three weeks, rural communities across America have been ravaged by the coronavirus like Nemaha, crowding testing centers and overfilling cash-strapped hospitals. In hot-spot counties in Wisconsin, North Dakota, California, and Kansas, health administrators say they have run out of space for seriously ill patients and are experiencing staffing shortages that are beginning to impact the quality of care. In North Dakota, the situation has become so bleak that hospitals are sending COVID-19-positive staff back to the floor—so long as they are asymptomatic—to care for those infected and residing in the facility. A similar situation played out in New York City during its peak in April.
